Zwischendurch baut der Kölner Freidenker auch mit fast konventionellen Posaunentönen loopartige Effekte: eine vielfältige Scheibe, die mit völlig anderen Mitteln an die Innovationsfreude Mangelsdorffs anknüpft.

Es empfiehlt sich zugewandtes Anhören, was in jedem Fall sehr belohnt wird mit einer Fülle an Musik und unterhaltsamen Hörerlebnissen, wovon man überrascht ist, dass „alles“ urspünglich mit einer Posaune eingespielt ist.

Gratulation an Andreas Schickentanz für eine sehr gelungene,absolute Ausnahme-CD, die trotz allen Avant-Gard-Stils nie die „bodenständige“ Hörbarkeit außer Acht lässt und deshalb genauso gerne seinem Hörer erzählen möchte, wie sie von diesem auch gehört werden möchte.

Durch die Situation des solistischen Spiels erinnert mich die CD im Grundsatz an die ebenfalls alleine gespielten Auftritte und Aufnahmen von Albert Mangelsdorff, der u.a. mit Dämpfereffekten, dichtem Mikrophon und Multiphonics seinen Posaunenklang erweiterte.

Diese CD möchte ich den Lesern sehr empfehlen.
